It was partially due to being sick last week, being lazy, and just having the winter blues (AKA I don't really care how I look and I'm not feeling inspired). BUT, I am feeling better and it's SUNNAYY OUT!! Nothin makes me happier :) Except shopping, my boyfriend, puppies, vacation, candy, new makeup, and...well I guess I am easy to please ;) So, let me catch you up! I just registered for my LAST term in my college education. Wow. It feels so amazing and I cannot wait to be outta here!! California here I come!!!! I have to say I am ready for spring. I am ready to whip out my shorts, skirts, dresses, get more sunglasses, wear brighter colors, get a fake tan and go swimsuit shopping. I actually really don't like swimsuit shopping because it is SO HARD for me to find something that fits me properly.. can get annoying. I really want another cute one piece this summer so if you see any ones that look like me please comment below!! Speaking of spring, tanning, and swimsuits, how do you like my white legs?? Mmmm boy those are pasty. That's why today's post is titled "Transparent." Kinda like Fat Amy says "Yeah, so tan bitches like you don't do it behind my back"... or something like that ;) Alright, I am just yapping now. It's good to be back! I will try and post again soon! My hiatus was unacceptable!

BEANIE:AMAZON, JACKET: NORDSTROM, NECKLACE:FOREVER21, TOP: FOREVER 21, PANTS: DIY, BIG LITA: WASTELAND OH MY GOSH! Wow! Has it been a while or what? Stefani got the flu really bad and Sara has been MIA so no one could take me pictures :'( *sniff*. And THEN my dad had another surgery last Thursday in Portland so on Saturday I went and visited. The surgery was long and didn't go quite according to plan but everything ended up going pretty well. He is in a LOT of pain and he can't move his left arm but the doctors are hoping that that will get better. The best part is that it is over and he is alive! Looooong recovery coming up but he will make it! Hmm what else? Oh! I'm not sure if I have updated you on my future plans yet! So currently, I am in school and am working at Hawaiian Grinds (yumm Hawaiian food!!!)but I will be graduating in June! Cripes! But THEN I will be heading back down to Malibu for the summer for camp! The past three summers I have worked at a camp ran by the Salvation Army in the Malibu Canyon for inner-city Los Angeles youth! Have I told you guys about this already? Anyways, it basically is the best thing that ever happened to me and so I just HAVE to back for one more year!! This will be my last summer but I am so excited to give it my all for one last go! And THEN,after camp, I plan to come home and go to Vancouver Washington and attend flight attendant school and become a flight attendant :) So there you have it, my plans for the next year! What do you think? Pretty exciting huh! Well, thanks for listening and so sorry I haven't posted in so long! Shame on me! I will be better, I promise!

Silver Linings

HAT: FOREVER21, STOLE: H&M, JACKET: NORDSTROM, DRESS: FOREVER 21, SUNGLASSES: H&M, BOOTS: JEFFREY CAMPBELL IT'S FRIDAY!!! Yay! Holy cow it is almost week 6 of winter term!! I cannot believe it.. yikes! Today I didn't have class so I went and got my roots touched up by my friend! My hair has little hints of lavender/silver in it from the toner but I LOVE it because I am platinum!! :)) This evening I am doing homework (so diligent I know!!) and then seeing The Silver Lining's Play Book with Matt tonight! So excited! We have waited a long time to see it. Tomorrow my little brother has a basketball game and then I work in the evening. Both of my "den mates", the roommates who sleep in my room with me, are gone this weekend so I am all alone! :'( But we are dog sitting a pit bull named Bronx so he will keep me company. Too bad he has gas :( What are your guys' plans this weekend??

Poppy

TOP: AMERICAN APPAREL, JACKET: VINTAGE, SHORTS: DIY, BOOTS: DR.MARTENS HI GUYS!!! Thank you so much for the support with my dad.. It means a lot! I have good news though! My dad will be getting surgery on Monday in PORTLAND! Turns out someone in Oregon can do the surgery. So that's a blessing! Today was rainy but we saw a patch of sun and sped over to the good ol' parking garage. The jacket I am wearing was my grandpa's "Poppy". It even says his last name on it "LaCom" which is also my middle name! Fun fact of the day! Poppy died when I was 13 but he was the greatest and cutest man I ever knew. He would always get us donuts and he called us every day. he loved trains and he set up the hugest train set every year after Thanksgiving through new Years. It had towns, train stations, and bridges and went through the living room, dining room, family room, and kitchen. I would spend hours playing with it. I remember one time my little brother had been playing with his own toy trains but had to go down for a nap and when I came into the room, Poppy was on the floor playing with the trains all by himself. He was so cute :) I miss him.

Back to Basics

HAT: FOREVER21, SHIRT: H&M, PANTS: H&M, SHOES: STEVE MADDEN, NECKLACE: FOREVER21 Hi all! Hope your weekend was great! Sorry it has been soooooo long! :'( I missed it. I went shopping this weekend with my birthday money!! The pants shirt, and necklace are all new purchases. The outfit today was just comfy and casual but perfect for the sunny weather today! YES. I said it, it's SUNNY!!! In other news, I have decided to only eat whole foods, no added sugar, for TWO WEEKS because I am so addicted to sugar. I have had a headache for the past three days and it SUCKS but I am trying to stay strong. I need to just detox this poor body of mine! My dad is in the hospital right now. Last week he had surgery which went well but this week he got sick with the flu and an infection and had to get re-admitted this weekend. They found a cyst on his spinal cord that is filling with fluid and making him more and more paralyzed (for those of you who don't know, he has been paralyzed for the past 32 years). So, the doctors are trying to get him into surgery ASAP. But the only places that are good enough for this tricky surgery is Miami, Seattle, and San Francisco. They're trying to get him in to Miami though. Prays would be much appreciated as it should be happening within the next few weeks! I'll keep you all posted! HAVE A GREAT MONDAY! Bachelor tonight.
